EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelor of Science, Aerospace Engineering, University of California San Diego, La Jolla, CA, 2015
Engineer-in-Training Certification, State of California, October 2015
Relevant Coursework: MATLAB, C++ Programming, Experimental Techniques, Thermodynamics, Vibrations, Fluid Dynamics, Aerospace Structures & Materials, Dynamic & Control Systems, Electronic Circuits
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
AILERON FABRICATION PROJECT, La Jolla, CA 04/2015 – 06/2015
Aerospace Senior Design Project, UC San Diego
Collaborated with small team to simulate aileron research, development, design, and production.
Used radio controlled (RC) planes to successfully mimic flight of airplanes and collected data from several to determine mean values and variations associated with a plane’s movement.
After strategically analyzing data, developed and fabricated aileron design, and attached aileron to each RC plane in order to improve each vessel’s maneuverability.
AIRFOIL DESIGN SIMULATION & OPTIMIZATION, La Jolla, CA 01/2014 – 06/2014
Aerospace Structures Course Project, UC San Diego
Enhanced skills in wing development by creating Matlab code to compute standard wing displacement and twisting distribution using various methods including finite element analysis.
Employed calculated data and following analyses to determine optimal wing characteristics and develop wing designed to effectively save weight and fly at ultimate efficiency.
