Resume

October 30, 2013

Greetings,

I am seeking employment in the area of marine port engineer, shipyard management, marine surveyor, or vessel manager. I am successfully employed in Norfolk Virginia, by Military Sealift Command in the N75 Engineering Directorate as a ship inspector. Due to last year’s government sequestration and furloughs and the likelihood of a repeat in January 2014, I am seeking more stable employment. I am not in a position to relocate. However, I would not be opposed to temporary or rotating assignments away from my current location. I prefer heavy field travel as opposed to an office environment. My resume is attached below.

I have extensive experience as a surveyor and overhaul manager of both commercial and military government owned, contractor operated vessels worldwide. I can be available in less than 30 days. I prefer to be contacted via e-mail first.

Best regards,
John
