- ROV Pilot/Technician – Involved in all aspects of subsea construction as it relates to heavy work class ROVs. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: electronic/hydraulic troubleshooting, subsea instrumentation and tooling setup, interfacing with clients and HSE program documentation.
Naval Undersea Warfare Center– West Palm Beach, FL (Sept 2009 – May 2013)
Served as mechanical/ocean engineer in support of the varying needs of customers at the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center located on Andros Island, The Bahamas. Primary duties were as follows:
- Marine Engineering Subject Matter Expert – Provided project management and technical engineering support for an extensive Service Life Extension Project being performed on two, 200ft range support vessels. Responsibilities included but are not limited to developing/reviewing design drawings, generating shipyard specifications, budget/schedule management, and shipyard technical oversight.
- Marine Operations Subject Matter Expert – Provided technical assistance and guidance to range users utilizing marine department assets. Perform monthly shipboard maintenance and safety inspections on fleet of range support vessels. Design/Develop test specific shipboard equipment.
- NATO FORACS Range Engineer/Subject Matter Expert – Provided technical oversight and coordinated with foreign naval detachments for NATO weapons and systems accuracy testing/verification.
- Acoustics Subject Matter Expert – Served as In-Service Engineering Agent and shipboard test facilitator for Surface Ship Radiated Noise Measurement trials. Responsibilities included deployment and recovery of overboard acoustic arrays, acting as liaison between government contractor and customer, operating/ troubleshooting data acquisition system and reviewing final test reports. Provided technical oversight and contract management for acoustics department.
